Doug Houvener is a seasoned marketing leader with more than a decade of experience in healthcare, marketing, sales, and revenue operations. As Head of Marketing at Second Door Health, he leads brand, demand generation, sales development, and events—helping physical therapy practices discover and adopt new revenue strategies beyond insurance.

Doug’s background spans the full healthcare ecosystem, from provider to payer to health tech. Before Second Door, he led enterprise marketing programs at WebPT, and previously built and scaled B2B and B2C marketing strategies for healthcare delivery organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a marketing emphasis from Northern Arizona University and is certified in customer service and promotional communications. Outside of work, Doug is a hands-on dad, amateur chef, and motorsports fan who enjoys woodworking, gardening, and cheering on the Red Wings and Steelers.
